I flew into London from LA on a red eye and went right to work. 3 days later I was cramped up, my shoulders felt like rocks and my feet were killing me. Then I found 4ForYou on YELP and decided to give them a call.

Their site looked totally legit and I was a little sketchy about being able to book an appt at 9pm on a Friday, but hey- they were willing to take me at 9pm on a Friday- Score!

Anna who booked the appointment with me was sincere, helpful and friendly and made me feel comfortable from the beginning. I had a bit of trouble finding the place, because I didnt realize they were in the basement of the salon "Hair+" next to the Domino's Pizza on Foley Street. "38" was not marked on the building. Luckily, Anna was right there on the phone to help guide me to the door and even though the salon was closed, my massage therapist, Evelina was there at the door to greet me.

As other YELPers have mentioned, this is not a "spa-like" ambiance, with lots of white cottons, fluffy pillows, flowers or meditative statues looking at you ponderously. This is the basement of a hair salon. And a small basement at that. There was a toilet they let me use before I went into the room- which looked like it belonged in a tight studio flat. But it served its purpose.

Then I went into the room. It was lit with candles, it smelled of eucalyptus oil and lavender and there was a full massage table. Evelina offered me a glass of water to begin and then stepped out so I could undress. When she came back in, she gave me one of the best deep tissue massages I have ever had. She was incredibly deft with her elbows and kept the pressure firm in all the spots that needed breaking up. I felt itchy as all the blood began coming back into my muscles. I was in total stretch out, deep breathing, 'let's-do-this-together" mode, as she broke down the tissue and left me in a heaping pile.

The cost was 50 GBP for 60 mins. I personally felt so relieved that I tipped her 10 GBP. She deserved that and more.

Overall- the reason I didnt give 5 stars were due to the minor negatives about this place- specifically the lack of Spa-like touches. Example- the table was not quite padded and there were no blankets to lay on, only the paper-type towels the doctor pulls over his examining table. I was provided a towel, after I got naked to cover up with. It covered me fine, but didn't make me feel total cozy, the way I would've under a blanket. I had to ask half way through for a washcloth or towel to go under my forehead, since the pressure was so strong, my head started to hurt against the table. Then when it was all over, I really looked around the room and noticed it was kind of dirty, with oil on the wall and a closet door off its rollers. Nothing that would cause me concern- but not buttoned up the way a day spa would be normally. But that's probably what helps keep the cost down.

Honestly- I am still feeling the massage days later. Deep tissue is not the type of thing I go for on a weekly basis- but if I get tight like that again or am here for longer, I will definitely call Anna and ask for Evelina. These ladies are lovely.

I must've been reading old reviews because they've definitely renovated the space - clean, zen and totally comfortable. They ask you where you'd like to focus on for the massage, and they really do pay attention to that. It was a great place for a nice massage, I'm giving 4 stars because there's always room for improvement ;) and I think they'd benefit from proper speakers (tinny music from an iPhone is a bit distracting) and perhaps a dark towel to go over the face when you are lying on your back.

Overall, if you're looking for a simple 60-90 minute massage (not a spa day!) this is a great place for it :)

Right, so I'll admit that the name of this venue sounds slightly dodgy. Especially since they're advertising a "four hand" massage. So, I went into my experience with a little bit of trepidation and some faith in the stellar reviews that 4ForYou had received on tripadvisor.

However, the experience itself was actually really great! First off, the service is great -- booking an appointment was a breeze, and the receptionist even remembered my name when I called back to change the time of my appointment (I suspect that this is because the number that you call is a mobile number). Secondly, they've got a great venue that's pretty zen in its atmosphere and fairly centrally located -- but they can also do massages for you at your home. And finally, the massage was awesome -- great pressure, great technique, and an all-around relaxing experience. She really took her time, which I appreciated, since a few of the other places I've been to in London shove me out the door 45 minutes in, despite my having paid for a full hour!

And it's inexpensive, too. Only £50 for an hour of deep tissue/swedish massage!

Do you have a sore back from a stressful week at work...from a rough workout...or a big ol' pregnant belly weighing you down (ahem, me!)? Visit 4ForYou! 4ForYou visits my office once a month to provide chair massages to employees and after suffering for two days with a sore back, I decided to visit their spa.

As fellow Yelper FK mentioned, the lobby/entrance does not have a spa-like appearance (which is the only reason for 4 star instead of 5) but the massages are to die for. The massage rooms smell like yummy oils and are lit with candles. 4ForYou has a special maternity massage table with holes for growing bosoms and bellies, so pregnant chickies like me can get an actual back massage for a full hour. The prices are extremely reasonable (for office visits and spa visits). My sore back is a thing of the past thanks to my massage, but I'll certainly be heading back for another relaxing massage within the next few weeks!

I was in London on business and had a terrible neck pain for over a week. It was a Saturday night and I was in so much pain I just wanted to cry. I looked up this place on Yelp and it was within walking distance and they were able to accommodate me and my friend even though it was already late - our appointment was booked for 7:45.

I didn't know what to expect, but have to say this was one of the best massages I have ever had. Anka was my therapist and I could tell right away that she had excellent training - she gave me a combination of deep tissue and sports massage and she also explained to me why I had that pain and that one of my vertebrae was getting misaligned. I am extremely picky when it comes to massages and my only regret was that I only booked one hour instead of two. Had I only found this place at the beginning of my trip I would be going there every single day.

The place itself is not fancy, but it is very clean, professional and has amazing therapists. What more can you ask for. If I ever go to London again this place is definitely on my list.

The previous reviews on this place are accurate. Quite small & spartan. Probably not the kind of place you want to gift someone, but acceptable. Most importantly, it looked and felt clean, had good lighting, temperature, music, and ambiance. The massage itself is solid. Not the best I've had, but I was left very satisfied. Lastly, but definitely not least -- the gals running the place are very polite, professional, and friendly.

I'm traveling & my back was really starting to flare up so I wasn't looking for a spa-type experience, just a clean, friendly, professional massage at a reasonable rate -- and that is exactly what this place is.

This place is not a spa, if you want ambience, relaxation, etc...then you will be disappointed. If you need relief from sore muscles...then you should try this place.

I had been suffering from tensed neck, headache and hamstring issues when I decided to give this place a try. I called in the night before and got a slot for the next morning. The lady who attended to me was friendly and helpful. She asked about my past injuries and other things which showed her professionalism. At that point I thought, alright this place is not fancy but she seems to know what she is doing. To be fair, the room was clean but yes very small. The massage was great, the pressure was good, I actually almost fell asleep but most importantly she fixed the problems. I was impressed.

They do home service for the same price so if you prefer a nicer place (the comfort of your own room) then perhaps you should try this instead.

I do hope they will change location or at least refurbish the facility.

Massage therapists here do have physiotherapy degree, so they are able to help with many medical conditions, including chronic pain, sport injuries. The proper for the place should be "Urban Medi Spa".
For local people this spa offers the same price for in calls, as well as out calls.
