Totally disreputable company. Paid for a suit in April 2018. Had 7 fittings, each of them an hour away from home. Each time, the suit had apparently been tailored, but was poorly fitting (to the extent of not being able to straighten my arms whilst wearing the jacket!). After 7 months (yes, 7 months), I was still being requested to come in for further fittings. I was also told that the fitting studio closest to me (an hour away!) had closed and could I go into London for further fittings. A 90 minute train and a tube ride later, I met with a different tailor who told me "these measurements are completely wrong - this suit would never fit you". He then took further measurements and offered to send me my completed suit by post. It came, was just as bad as each other attempt, and I've since spent the last 3 months trying to get a refund. Customer services do not answer the phone, nor do they reply to voicemails or emails.
It's now almost 10 months on, I don't have my tailored suit (promised in 3 months), and A Suit That Fits seems to be closing fitting centres. Once they have your money, they simply do not care, and a quick google shows many examples of their financial mismanagement and troubles.
They are still Spamming me with special offers, so are obviously trying more empty promises to get cash up front.
Do not trust.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Eir J.St Albans, Wielka Brytania044 kwi 2018
The service provided by this company is absolutely atrocious. The appointment times are not honoured and often you are made to wait despite arriving well on time. The stylists/tailors are not actual tailors and have no training in bespoke tailoring. Any actual modifications to your garments are made in Bangladesh which makes the whole process extremely time intensive.
I ordered a set of suits and after over 20 appointments the only item of clothing I received was a pair of trousers which ripped a day later. You could not make this stuff up. The entire experience is a nightmare and hard to believe.
The customer service is the worst I have ever come across in my entire life. The blank refusal by the company to reimburse the money I have paid, after being unable to complete even a single order, is frankly scandalous. Having perused other yelp reviews, trustnet reviews and google reviews; it is abundantly clear that this is systemic. A Suit That Fits refuses to reimburse or refund it's customers at any point. An extraordinary amount of reviews all describe a similar experience to mine. THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE BEING MISLED AND DENIED REFUNDS BY THIS COMPANY.
I ordered two separate set of suits worth well over £3000 and they are refusing to repay me claiming that the company behind the brand is in liquidation, yet offering to complete my order. A task they have failed to accomplish in the last few years. The staff are rude and unhelpful and purposefully misdirect and lie in regards to support queries.
This is the worst business I have ever interacted with in my entire life.
DO NOT ORDER A SUIT FROM THESE PEOPLE.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Vasilis N.Uxbridge, Wielka Brytania216 lut 2019
I've been waiting for 3 months for my suit. They never called me to apologise or explain the delay. Whenever I call them they either don't answer the phone or they tell me some bad excuse for the delay. My patience is exhausted and I'm going to sue them.

So my experience is pretty old (the last suit I bought from them was in 2010). My thoughts as follows:
- their "tailors" (they're not tailors) are of extremely variable quality. I had one that was fine and made me a pretty good/standard suit. My second was terrible - I thought the style of my first suit was a little old fashioned (baggy, long jacket) so said I wanted something more modern for my second. The guy made the jacket too short and the trousers bizarrely tight. A few fittings later got me closer to what I wanted, but they had to completely remake the jacket.
- they're a bit tacky/flashy - suggesting bright lining and opening the cuff buttons after I closed them
- the service is poor - I have booked appointments and then had to wait 30 minutes plus before being seen to. I'm not sure what the point of appointment times is in that case.
It just wasn't a great experience - and the suits ranged from 400-700 without seeming to be worth it.
I now go to Suit Supply, which adjusts the suit to fit you (and achieves a better fit than ASTF) but much much less cost.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Paul G.San Francisco, Stany Zjednoczone0113 lut 2019
Avoid! On 20th April 2018 I paid over £500 for a suit and was measured. Today's date is 13th Feb 2019 : still no suit, no reply to my complaints, no refund. I am taking legal action against them,

Horrible experience with this extremely unprofessional business.
We drove to Edinburgh (2h drive from us) to specifically order fitted trousers for my partner as he is very tall and slim and struggles to buy anything in shops. The "tailor" had no clue of what he was doing and could not recommend anything and kept repeating that the design was completely up to us. At the end we ordered chinos and only after we had paid, we were told that the trousers will be made in Nepal and sent to us by post! That is not really the bespoke tailoring they promise on their webpage! We can order cheap trousers from Thailand, Vietnam or Nepal ourselves any time and dont need to pay over 100 pound for that!
As expected, the trousers that turned up from Asia were far from chinos we had ordered. They looked more like an old fashioned and baggy suit trousers and were of a typical cheap looking Asian style.
When we went back for the re-fitting the previous "tailor" had left the company and the new one was as bad as the old one. He could not propose any improvements to the horrible pair of trousers we had received and said we had to tell him how exactly we wanted the trousers to be fixed. He then said that the trousers would be altered and sent back to us within 4 weeks. It has now been 3,5 months and we haven't received any trousers back. When we contacted the company they said that the second "tailor" has left the company too.
The whole process from our first visit to Edinburgh has taken ONE YEAR and we still dont have the trousers, which we of course paid for a year ago. Its a complete SCAM!
In addition to the above, the office in Edinburgh was so small that there were no space for an extra chair or changing room, so I had to stand for the whole hour while we discussed the order of the chinos. Then, the fitting was arranged in a restaurant (?!?!?) where my partner had to change into the other trousers with all restaurant guests seeing it.
Really the most horrible service we have ever experienced and its still not over.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kris B.Londyn, Wielka Brytania0123 sty 2015
This was the second order I had placed. The first for 2 suits with additional trousers for each. The second was a repeat of the first order but a slightly more slimming fit requested. Over the course of now almost 5 months I still haven't received my complete order. At the 3rd fitting when I should have received 2 pairs of trousers in each colour, instead I received 3 of 1 and 1 of the other. Explanation was a "typing error". The next few months involved 7 further fittings as a result of trousers being provided at different lengths, stains on blazer linings, oh and wait for it - at the 10th consultation (yes 10th) I was provided 2 pairs of 1 colour, 1 of the other and a pair of someone else's trousers about a foot shorter with waist 4 inches wider than mine! As a result I was left with a half-finished essentially second-hand suit given the amount it has now been handled.
Conceding I will never receive my order either complete or in acceptable condition, I asked for my money back. After being ignored for nearly 3 weeks I finally received a haphazardly formatted 2,000 word email beginning "I must first stress that I am sorry, but I cannot give you the requested refund. I can honestly say after conducting many fittings with you, ASTF has not failed, we have upheld our agreement to a high standard, and have gone above and beyond to accommodate you". After 4 months, 10 consultations, numerous emails and phone calls, blazer stains, mis-matching trousers, being provided someone else's trousers, making too many of some and not enough of others (twice) and still 1 pair of trousers missing please explain ASTF - how has our agreement been upheld to a high standard???
Eventually speaking to a sarcastic and unremorseful "Head of London Sales" I was told tailoring is a "science". Bewildered that typo's, taking measurements, keeping garments clean and completing an order could be compared to splitting the atom I was accused of being "irrational". This is the attitude I have come to expect from ASTF - needless to say this was a traumatic experience with the worst possible outcome.
Lastly, when attempting to post the above review on the ASTF website, following an invitation to do so prior to my request for refund, I have been denied this right. As such I have complained to the Trading Standards Institute on the grounds these reviews do not accurately reflect customer experience and are therefore essentially fabricated.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Iqbal A.Andover, Wielka Brytania058 lis 2014
beware as they sell you a suit that does not fit. I ordered two suits and paid for them both upfront. I explained that I would let them complete one and then we can choose the fabric for the second suit.
The first suit they carried out the normal fittings they managed to get the trousers to fit. The suit jacket however was too short as much as I insisted that I was not happy with the length I was pretty much sold the jacket having been told that the length is correct and that is the way it should be. The error they had made was to not measure correctly and were reluctant to lengthen the jacket i assume this is a difficult process and they were not willing to do this. I picked up the jacket and wore it once it looked horrible and I was not comfortable wearing it. To avoid confrontation and having lost faith in their ability I asked to cancel the second suit and instead make two more pairs of trousers exactly like the original ones.
Another fitting ensued (each fitting costs me half a day due to the location) I returned my jacket asking them to keep it or give it to charity as there is no way I would wear it again. I was then told that they would make me another jacket the correct length if that would make me happy! why could they not do this in the first place and offer to do it a year later....I am close to a year since my first appointment and the two pair of trousers they made to replicate the first ones guess what? they don't fit either...As much as they have offered to fix them it is another fitting and another half a day!! I give up! £800 for one pair of trousers not to mention the time and money wasted on fittings........
Avoid these guys at all cost its not worth the headache.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mark P.Southend-on-Sea, Wielka Brytania0313 lis 2017
The most ironically named company
Please please do not use this company! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.
I use this company in june 2016 for get fitted for a wedding suit. I dont normally wear three pieces suits so this was special for me. I'd never experienced a tailors before. They charged me over a £1000 for a three piece suit and tailored shirt.
To cut a long story short. They couldn't make a suit that fitted. On the day before my wedding I attended for my last fitting, the shirt still didn't fit right and the collar was wrong, but at this point I was more concerned about that jacket that STILL did not fit.
I was told to travel from city london to a industrial estate in tottenham and i had to take half a days emergency annual leave.
I was offered no cab ride and ended up getting an over ground train.
I met the tailor, I tried the jacket on and he explained that he'd try his best but that the arms would never sit right as there was not enough material... I was shocked, considering this is meant to be a tailored jacket.
The shirt was so mucked up i had to go and buy one from a high street chain.
It made me annoyed but i had an amazing wedding.
When i got back in contact with a suit that fits they said theyd sort it all out and give compensation.
THIS IS THE HORROR PART!!!
10MONTHS later and they have still not made me a jacket that fits.
I have refused to be measured for a 3rd time and have complained asking for a refund. They are completely ignoring my complaint and not answering emails.
This is not exaggaration the arms are about 4 inches short on the newest jacket. Seriously i could pick up a better fitting jacket from primark.
Anyway having to get mastercard involved now.
Just to be clear im 34 42inch chest and proportionate i can grab a great fitting jacket out of any high street chain.
If you want one a guy at work highly recommends cad and the dandy in city.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nathan L.Londyn, Wielka Brytania27150116 sie 2011Pierwsza recenzja
