A very nice place to have anything from a coffee and a snack to a fancy lunch or a cocktail.
We had some hot white chocolates and a delicious piece of cheesecake.
The atmosphere was really cozy, although I would enjoy it far better if the music was a bit louder so as you cannot only hear everyone's conversations.
The service was quick and the personnel very polite!

The service was good and the view is amazing if you are able to get a table on the lake. We only shared some apps, so I can't say much about the food but look forward to trying it when I am there next.

Great location, cute set up, nothing special food, TERRIBLE SERVICE - this place looked nice so we figured why not give this place a try! We arrived at 11:20 and were told by the waiter that we wouldn't be able to order non-breakfast food from the menu for another 20 minutes but could order coffee for now and he would be back to get our order. This was no problem for us and we saw that on the menu that food wasn't available until 12 so we were happy to wait. By 12 our waiter never came back for us so we waved him over and he looked at us and chose to ignore us. We tried again 10 minutes later and he put his hand up to acknowledge us but STILL didn't come over. After doing so one more time he gestured towards another waitress to serve us and we had to wave her down. She came to us and took our order and we got our food around 13:00. We waived our new waitress down multiple times and she nodded at us and proceeded to ignore us. Both she and the waiter were standing around and refusing to acknowledge us, at this point we wanted to just pay and get on our way. Eventually, we were able to get her to come over and were able to pay, but at that point, the time was already 14:00. Ridiculous, I've never had such a bad experience and would not recommend this place.

It is a good place to relax and the Burgers there are delicious. The frites are also really tasty and the latte is really good. Definately a good Café with a good sight!

We were here on a busy weekend night, and had surprisingly excellent service. Super prompt with drinks orders, quick with dinner.
I had a baguette sandwich with feta, olives and tomatoes which was amazing! My friend had a delicious caesar salad.
Loud, fun music and a view over the water that cannot be beat.
Great patio, though we chose to sit inside as it was a bit windy.
Overall, I would highly recommend this place, especially for delicious food, a pick me up atmosphere, and excellent wait staff.

We didn't have a chance to eat here, however, we did drink a beer and a few cocktails and tiki drinks. The servers were attentive without being overbearing and the drinks were very nice. Not to mention how nice of a location it is. Well worth a visit!

This restaurant, bar & lounge, in the center of buzzing Hamburg city, has grown tremendously. The menu is diverse, well priced, and some of the servings are extremely delicious. Try the Cesar Wrap!

Unfortunately, as often when locales grow too big or too fast, personnel quality suffers. Rudeness, excessive waiting times, unqualified and careless personnel with low social skills take hold. Remember, customer is always king.

Everyone knows that the atmosphere here is great and the "seen and be seen scene factor is priceless. Chilling here after hours of Apple Store joy is refreshing. But it's time to upgrade to free wifi and at the table credit card service to reach international standards, this en vogue dwelling clearly wants to achieve.

First of all, the view is amazing. It was such a nice way to spend my lunch break. If it had been any bit warmer, it would have been tough to peel me away from the sunshine and go on back to work ;)

The food was decent but nothing spectacular. I ordered the Old English bacon burger and it came with a side of chips. I really wish you could request how you'd like your burger cooked because well done being standard was just too cooked for a gal that likes things medium-rare.

Overall, it was a good meal and the customer service was great.

Would I come back again? I might bring my Mom the next time she is in town for the view and order something else but if you're looking for to-die-for cuisine, I'm not sure this is the place.

I was at the caffe today evening, and "Alex" Caffè, has a new rule, which is forbiding people to come inside, if they have a sport clothes on. I was waiting for my friend to come in and he wasn't allowed to come in cause he had sport clothes on.
I can understand this. But this rule doesn't apply to everyone as I saw today! The PR guy let other people and other groups coming in, which they were with sport clothes on, and he didn't let my friend coming in because of Sport clothes?! I think this was so unfair from his side, based on his mood and his personal taste,beside that, the guy was so unrespectful when I told him this. Thank you.

Favorite part of Hamburg. This place has a beautiful spot on the water with plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. Their prices are super reasonable and they serve great food. Great schnitzel!
