One of the worst restaurant I ever been.
Food is very old, not at all hot and fresh. Service is very poor. Not many items to try. Highly not recommend. Please avoid this place for any cost.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Cassidy A.Lyon, Francja53614 cze 2014
it blows my mind that anybody thinks this place is good. i've been dragged along here several times for birthday dinners with my ex-boyfriend's family, and i asked him every time, why the hell would they choose this place? it's awful. and the answer was always, well you can eat as much as you want!
so yeah, that's the good part about mr. wu. the bad part is everything else. the buffet area is always cramped & hectic. and the food itself is just crap. the sushi is a joke, and it seems like everything else is fried & flavorless. they even have french fries, wtf. the only thing worth eating is the (i suppose) mongolian-style grill, where you pile a plate with whatever meat, veggies, and sauce you desire, and they cook it fresh for you. but even that is nothing to write home about. for dessert they provide the lamest shit they could think of, including jello & mediocre ice cream. seriously, they could not even shell out for good ice cream. it's shitty ice cream.
i'll never voluntarily go to mr. wu, and now that i'm no longer with my boyfriend, i don't think i'll have to ever be dragged there again either! :DHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - D'Metri J.Wandsbek, Hamburg, Niemcy017 mar 2017
Interesting comments here . One must think some competitor asked them to post. I can say that I live within walking distance of Mr. Wu's and have eaten there several times. I was not dragged there by my boyfriend, girlfriend if I am going to be grammatically correct. I have also eaten at a competitor's restaurant several times. I have not had one experience where the food could be called mediocre or bad. This comes from a well traveled man who once lived near Chinatown in San Francisco. This is good food. The service could be better. I suppose the packed house of Elders gives that away. Elders tend not to go to a restaurant when the food is not good. The food is not 'exactly' Chinese but is nearly the closest you will get in Hamburg. Bottom line: I must say this is a good place to eat and the prices are definitely competitive. I do not think the other comments are 'accurate'. But that is my perspective. Try it.

Well, one doesn't come here for quality but for quantity. The only highlight is the Mongolian grill, however, flavorless is the only term to describe it.
