Monmouth Coffee

One of the best cups of latte I've ever had! Stopping in after hearing a friend's recommendation, this small cafe was packed with fans. The queue moves quickly thanks to the friendly and efficient staff. Since they don't do takeaway cups to help save the earth, I got my latte in a ceramics. There are a few tables inside and plenty outside. My latte was 3 pounds and perfectly crafted.

Great bold flavor profile! Love the to-go container and the sustainability. The staff were so helpful. Nice small place with a lot of soul.

Line out the door on a Saturday, but it moved pretty fast and the coffee is great. I had a flat white, and my boyfriend got an espresso.

A note about the cup policy: They only have reusable cups here (no paper to-go cups). You pay a £5 deposit per drink upon ordering, which they refund when you return the cup. Kind of steep, especially if you're in a hurry or you're a tourist who won't necessarily be returning another day (you'll have to stand there and chug your coffee to get that £5 back), but definitely environmentally conscious. We ended up returning one cup, and keeping the other as a souvenir.

Must Visit Coffee Shop in London. Espresso drinks are top notch, and the pastries are whole 'nother level.

Cool little spot, but there wasn't any seating available. It was very small and it was busy-- for good reason. The coffee was amazing!

So I usually get lattes, but they're known for their filtered coffee, so I thought I'd give it a go. I don't think it was anything out of the ordinary. It was a little sour for my taste, but at least it was strong. I was shaking after I finished my cup. I also got a brioche with it and thought it was ok as well.

I think I'd give their latte a try next time. The price is not too bad given the popularity of the place--but I'm also comparing it to the outrageously overpriced coffee shops in NYC & SF

This is the best coffee that I've had in London so far! The lines are sometimes really long but the quality of the coffee makes it worth the wait. It's a pretty standard trendy new-age coffee shop in most respects but that's exactly the kinda place that I'll spend all my money at.

good latte. good location. i like the sustainability of the lack of take away cups. however, i believe this place to be over hyped. i got a basic latte and thought it was a good cup of coffee, don't get me wrong but nothing mind blowing like i was expecting.

Delicious coffee- no takeaway disposable cups- true environmentalists! You can pay 5 pound for a reusable cup and return for a refund anytime. Service was great and staff super pleasant. Small eat in area and outdoor seating. Didn't eats pastries but they looked outstanding.
