What the Americans call 'pretzels' pale in comparison to the authentic (and incredibly fresh) 'butterbrezel' that we devoured at Das Mo. Not once, but twice...we had to go back the next day for more.
On our first visit here, we were with a large group...which probably accounted for the spotty service. (It took over 30 minutes to get my drink.) But, our leberkase and potato salad were both really good (OK...not as great as my first unforgettable leberkase in Viktualienmarkt in Munich, but respectably close). On our second visit, we had Schweizer Wurstsalat...a new favorite of mine. It was not so filling...leaving plenty of room for that butterbretzel. Service was perfect this time...and, the place was crowded with happy beer-drinking faces. The highlight...the construction apprentices dressed in traditional garb asking for support during their year long unpaid training. That's 2 Euros I consider really well invested...Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Greg B.Lubbock, Stany Zjednoczone3632026 sie 2015

The Mo is THE classic Bavarian biergarten as you'd expect it to look. Trees cast huge shadows all over the place and make you feel like you're drinking your beer in the woods. Weißbier (wheat beer) is what most people drink when they get thirsty but might not be that cold if there's too much business going on. In that case, you may want to stick to Dark Wheat Beer which is almost as good and usually ice cold.
The eats are good but certainly pricy considering that it is nothing really special regarding the ingredients. In that respect you get much better deals in places outside the city (e.g. Mooshäusl) that - in turn - do not offer the same great atmosphere. So it's basically up to whether you'd rather save some bucks or be in the city center where other bars are not too far. I recommend the latter alternative.
