Organic Chickpeas

A good alternative to the usual Canary Wharf lunch options. There's not a big choice, it's either a salad bowl with falafels (£4.95, and 50p extra for a side pita bread) or a pitta stuffed with hummus and falafels for £4.45. The only other options were whether you have a white or brown pita, and the optional (and very spicy) chilli sauce.

The stall is run by Israelis (or at least people who spoke Hebrew to each other), so the taste and quality is similar to what you'd find in the middle east. The falafels were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, but it's a shame they weren't freshly cooking the falafels on the Friday lunchtime I visited.

Very quick and tasy falafels and hummus. I was impressed. Quite convenient.

Great tasting food and always fresh, all vegan too! Friendly staff and good prices considering the portion sizes.
