Robert Chiu,MD - Today's Cosmetic Surgery

Consulted three different board certified facial plastic surgeons. At 69, wanted a neck lift as the turkey neck so aged me. They all said I'd need a lower face lift as well; their explanations making sense as I wouldn't ultimately be satisfied with just the neck being done. My extensive research for my age group meant a lower face-ift alone would not contour my neck. Instead, it would require an incision under the neck and into the hairline on both sides. Dr. Chiu said I needed neck botox about a month pre-surgery. Never had my neck botoxed before, although knew some women did that for banding. When questioned, he said was part of his 'technique'. After surgery, when realized there wasn't a stitch under my neck or in hairline, felt sick to my stomach. When asked him at post-op visit, he threw up his hands and began to whine 'what did I expect at 69 years olds old'. So he took my money, part which came out of a retirement account. BTW, he told me I was the most compliant patient he ever had with my pre and post diet, as well as my overall self-care. Even lost 20 lbs before surgery. Everytime look in the mirror, am totally devasted.

I have been going to Dr. Chiu for many years and I have always been very happy with my results!! I get compliments all the time on how young I look, and it looks natural and not over done!! I would and I have recommended him to my friends and family.

Please read. From the moment I went in he constantly tried to change my mind. I had a very specific request. I did not want the front of my nose changed at all. My reason for seeing him was mostly internal and the fact that my face was collapsing on one side. I asked him to fix the problem and not change the tip of my nose at all. He insisted that I needed a support inside my nose. It changed the shape of my nose permanently. It's awful. I went to see another very well known surgeon after this mess who told me that Chiu couldn't operate his way out of a paper bag. When I went back to the office to voice my concerns their answer was, "Do you have a relationship with Jesus." Yep. They thought I needed God. I needed a better surgeon. My biggest regret in life to be stuck with a nose I wasn't born with because of him. Please please please go somewhere else!

I've never had anything but great experiences at Today's Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Chiu is an artist and has never disappointed. I've been getting Juvederm injections in my lips from him for almost 2 years. My lips always look natural, full, and beautiful.

I love going to Today's Cosmetic Surgery and I would recommend them to anyone.

I have been going to dr Chiu for a year now, lip injections ,filler and Botox. At 46 i have never felt better about myself. Even gave me the confidence to be part of a reality show on MTV . After years of not being able to breath and never really loving my nose , I decided to have septoplasty and rhinoplasty. It was all about waiting until I found the right surgeon. It all started one night watching KDKA. Dr Chiu doing fraxel here in Pittsburgh. Fraxel was great, but I really needed a facelift. After one visit to the office I knew beyond a doubt Dr Chiu was a professional at what he does. He would not touch my face until I quit smoking, and I did it! I got the facelift and it is perfect. People are commenting everyday they can not believe I am 58. For those who knew I was doing it, I have heard several times...they never saw a facelift look so natural. I look in the mirror and can't believe the difference . He is not just good he is FANTASTIC ! Sara who works the front desk is very helpful with details and questions, she adds a lot to the whole experience. I have people ask me for his contact constantly.
