What a disappointment. We had reservations for Christmas dinner. We were sat on the front patio which was clearly an after thought for assignment of service. We were luckier than the people next to us who must have sat for 30 mins before their server took an order, but still not attentive. Def not $$$$ level service.

We did get to order and I ordered chicken and baked potato- they were out of both. Because my husband was excited about his steak, I got a chopped salad to just be nice and not make a big deal but not the Christmas dinner I planned. At that point, we had already ordered full meals, a round of cocktails and a nice bottle of wine. We also had planned our dessert. After all that, what was I to do but find something to eat. I will be honest though - I cannot believe I was charged for the salad. I barely ate it- and would think when someone orders an entire meal you then can't provide- give them some lettuce! It's not about the measly $15 - rather an example of how this was not a fine dining experience. Plus I was seated in a crack the whole time because they squeezed an extra table in where I am not sure one should have been (how I know so well what service the couple elbow to elbow received)..

We have celebrated a lot of occasions at Mastros (going back 10+ years and before we could actually afford it) and I can tell you to drive the extra 9 miles to the Beverly Hills location (or on to Malibu or Vegas). . If you're in DTLA where we live- try Capital Grille.

Have been several times. Great food. The atmosphere is good too and fun. Recommend- especially if entertaining guests.

Very nice guys. They do good work and at a fair price. It's clear they take pride in their business. Definitely recommend them!

Went to the burlesque show here and it was such a great idea - something fun and unexpected in Solvang. Unfortunately, in three hours we could only manage to get one round of drinks. When unable to order in the show, did try to go into the bar and order but bartender refused to wait on me, and was rude about it. She explained to me condescendingly there were people in front of me- which was perplexing as I'd been there over a half hour by then and couldn't get anyone to wait on me.
